On Wednesday, June 11th, in London, this new award ceremony was a powerful testament to the vital role that local groups like ours play in transforming lives and strengthening communities across the UK. To be recognized in such a way, especially alongside so many other inspiring local organizations, is a true honor. A huge thank you to Sported UK for this incredible acknowledgment and for championing the grassroots sports sector. Celebrating the Impact of the Hampshire Active Health Programme
Last month, Amanda had the pleasure of attending the Hampshire Active Health Programme Impact & Celebration event. This fantastic gathering brought together over 100 individuals and organizations to celebrate the profound impact of this vital initiative.
The Hampshire Active Health Programme is a groundbreaking initiative that has allocated £1.4 million in grants to organizations dedicated to encouraging and providing physical activity opportunities within communities facing the most significant health inequalities. It was truly inspiring to be there, witnessing firsthand the collective efforts to empower individuals and improve well-being across Hampshire.
