Check out the different ways you can support Move Momentum
As a charity, Move Momentum is dedicated to ensuring that dancing is inclusive and affordable for all.
We couldn’t provide our regular dance classes for 10-16 year-olds, over 65s, and people in wheelchairs, as well as our workshops for care homes and specialist groups, without the help of our wonderful supporters. These include charitable Trusts, local businesses and organisations, and many, many individuals, who support us through donations and giving time and expertise.
“We are so grateful to everybody who makes it possible for us to continue providing the classes and workshops,” says Move Momentum CEO, Amanda, “and we’ve recently added some new ways for individual supporters to help. So we thought it a good idea to outline these in a blog – but you can find full details on our Support Us page.”
Direction donation
It’s quick and easy to make a direct donation online. This can either be a one-off or regular donation.
Give as you shop
Many people now like to donate to good causes while doing their shopping. We’ve signed up to both EasyFundraising and Give As You Live. Whenever you shop with one of their partner organisations, we get a donation!
Legacy donations
We’ve also started working with Bequeathed, an organisation offering a free will-writing service to people wanting to leave a charity a gift in their will. You can find more information on Move Momentum’s Bequeathed webpage.
Fundraising
We organise one-off and annual fundraising events and activities. You can find more information about individual campaigns through our social media pages, or sign up for our newsletter (we send out three a year).
If you’d like to run your own campaign – that’s great! You can email our Fundraising Officer, Keeleigh, at [email protected] for a variety of information pieces and materials to get you started. The best way to help us is via Just Giving – or you can ask Keeleigh for a sponsorship form.
Volunteering
We’d love to hear from you if you have some time to offer. You can find details for the roles for which we’re currently recruiting on our Work with Us page – or just get in touch if you have other talents and skills you’d like to share.
“We are so grateful for all the support we receive, whether through donations or through the time, and sharing of their expertise and skills given by our volunteers,” Amanda continues. “If you think you can support us in anyway, thank you!”
