Move Momentum receives South England Prestige Award 2022
On Friday 3 March 2023, Move Momentum received the Corporate LiveWire South England Prestige Award 2022 for Dance Charity of the Year – South England (Hampshire).
Corporate LiveWire as an organisation provides businesses and individuals with information about the latest corporate sector news worldwide. Their awards were created to recognise small and medium-sized businesses that have shown to be the best in their field, over the past 12 months.
The judges look at a range of areas, including the quality of service and of the product provided, as well as judging on how innovative the service is, how ethical and sustainable the working practices, and whether there is a consistency in performance.
CEO and teacher, Amanda, went along to the Oakley Hall Hotel in Basingstoke on Friday 3 March to collect the award.
Amanda says,
“We’re absolutely delighted that Move Momentum has been recognised in this way.
“It’s a real tribute to everyone involved with the charity – our teachers, our team working behind the scenes, our volunteers, trustees, funders and supporters – and of course our wonderful students!
“All of us here have a passion for dance, and it’s fantastic to see our students so enjoying their classes, the routines and the social and health-benefits of being part of our special community.”
