We are thrilled to have launched our Everyone Can Dance – Online (ECDO) project featuring dance tutorial videos tailored for older adults and individuals with long-term health conditions and disabilities!

Created with the help of our demographic, Everyone Can Dance – Online aims to meet your needs exactly where you are, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of dance in your own time and in the comfort of your own home.

Why have we created Everyone Can Dance – Online?

To Inspire Physical Activity in a Fun and Engaging Way

We aim to make physical activity enjoyable by offering new Move Momentum choreography specifically designed for our diverse community. Each dance routine is carefully crafted, from choreography and music selection to dance style and variation, ensuring it resonates with our audience.

To Enhance Access to Dance

We strive to make dance accessible to everyone by offering an affordable and flexible platform. Our short dance tutorials and dance-along videos give participants the freedom to choose the duration and content of their sessions. Each video is designed to be as inclusive as possible, offering variations for standing, seated, or wheelchair options. We’ve also made the platform user-friendly, with a detailed how-to guide to help you navigate with ease.

To Foster Social Connections

We believe in the power of community, which is why we’ve created a welcoming and inclusive space on the ECDO platform and Facebook. We offer regular opportunities for engagement, ensuring that ECDO evolves in partnership with its participants, building a supportive and connected community.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to our collaborator Autek – a disability led community interest company who produce inclusive videos and animations to empower individuals. Together we successfully produced over 30 different dance videos involving accessible captions, variations in ability, pace and tailored choreography inspired by different decades!
