Dancing Dreams Come True: Wheelchair Ballet at the Royal Ballet School!
We’re absolutely thrilled to share an inspiring highlight from earlier this month! On June 8th, our incredible Liberate dancer and Finance Officer Emily had the amazing opportunity to attend a wheelchair ballet workshop at the prestigious Royal Ballet School in Covent Garden, London.
Get Ready to Cheer! Our Team Takes on Pedal Paddle Pace Fundraiser!
Get ready to cheer on some familiar faces this July! On Sunday, July 13th, our CEO and dance teacher Amanda, along with Fundraising Manager and dance teacher Keeleigh, and class assistant volunteer Lynn, will be putting their endurance to the ultimate test in the Winchester Round Table’s ‘Pedal Paddle Pace’ race!

The Move Momentum Community Platform 2025
We are thrilled to present the Move Momentum Community Platform 2025!
Join us this summer for an exciting showcase of some truly fantastic dancers. The event will be held at the University of Winchester on Saturday, 28th June, commencing at 4:30 PM. Get ready for performances from all of our amazing Move Momentum classes, including our wonderful new partner group, Multi Sports Club! But that’s not all – we’re also thrilled to welcome some very special guest dancers from the Florian School of Dance and Blue Apple Theatre. It’s going to be a truly heartwarming celebration of dance!
Liberate Dance Holiday Camp 2025
Are you a wheelchair user? Do you want to have some fun, make some friends and do some dancing? Come and join Liberate Dance, a wheelchair dance company for our annual holiday camp! No dance experience is required.
Meet Jess
12-year-old Jess has Cerebral Palsy and has attended our classes for a few years and is a student in our Liberate Dance Youth class in Winchester, which is our exclusively wheelchair-based dance group for ages 7-13.
Meet Edna
Edna has been attending our GEMS Weeke class for over 65s at St Barnabas Church for over 4 years. She decided to join the class as a way to be more active. She also loves being in her GEMs class as she believes dancing is “good for the soul” and enjoys the time spent with friends.
Meet Katie
22-year-old Katie has attended our classes since 2021 and is a student in our Liberate Dance – Adult class in Winchester and Liberate Online.
